Oracle Red Bull Racing and Rokt launch new video series highlighting women in sports and engineering

Today, as part of our team partnership with Oracle Red Bull Racing, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our joint five-part episodic series, highlighting female engineers and their crucial contributions to racing. The video series, titled “Driven Beyond Limits,” features individual interviews conducted by Srishti Gupta, Rokt’s Chief Product Officer, with five Oracle Red Bull Racing engineers, including:

  • Hannah Schmitz, Principal Strategy Engineer
  • Aimee Gibbard, Test Engineer, R&D Drivetrain
  • Nienke Eijsvogel, HPC Systems Engineer
  • Abigail Crawforth, Machinist
  • Ainhoa Bergiristain, Controls Engineer, Trackside

“We’re proud to see the engineers and machinists of Oracle Red Bull Racing coming together to share their career journeys, helping to educate and inspire others about the many possibilities for women in STEM,” said Zoe Mills, Oracle Red Bull Racing Head of Employee Experiences. “Each interview is a unique look into the collaboration, creativity, and passion that exists behind the magic of each Formula One race.”

The “Driven Beyond Limits” series, which includes five short, dynamic videos featuring each of the showcased women, is the latest in a series of initiatives in partnership with Oracle Red Bull Racing aimed at fostering greater diversity in F1 racing and beyond. In June, our partnership announced “Rokt the Rig”, the global talent search and driver development program that will identify six exceptional female sim racers. These talented individuals will receive personalized training and have the opportunity for once-in-a-lifetime experiences to compete or contribute to the team. We also held a joint International Women in Engineering Day event for women to learn more about engineering opportunities from different industry professionals.

“Our new video series shines a light on the incredible women working behind the scenes to bring the excitement of Formula One racing to life,” said Srishti Gupta, Chief Product Officer at Rokt. “We partnered with Oracle Red Bull Racing to enable greater diversity in engineering, sports, and business, and these episodes are a great way to showcase the immense talent of these women.”

Hannah Schmitz’s interview is the first to launch with subsequent videos to be released in the upcoming weeks.
