The Role

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be on the ground floor of a dynamic, rapidly expanding business experiencing fast growth. This role is a first step to a advertising/technology sales career. The Sales Development Representative is an integral part of the team that helps the company build its sales pipeline. Job Purpose

Consistently prospect and initiate contact with potential new advertisers to the ROKT platform
Plan an effective, quarterly recurring lead generation prospect strategy to support the Sales Director and wider LA sales team.

Core Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, and validate target lead lists
  • Conduct outbound email prospecting using Tout App or similar
  • Lead generation/outbound calling and warm lead follow up
  • Work with field sales team to identify prospects
  • Set appointments with qualified prospects for LA Sales Team
  • Participate in local conferences and events when appropriate
  • Conduct initial lead qualification
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of company’s solution offerings
  • Document and track all activities using in a timely manner
  • Participate in sales planning and status meetings

Success Metrics

  • Support the ROKT LA team in achieving monthly and quarterly new business revenue targets
  • Supporting the Sales Team to generate an increase in signed Insertion Orders
  • Meeting specific targets for setting face to face and phone prospect meetings for the Sales Team
  • Increased quarterly commitments expressed as delivered team revenue
  • Proactivity in customer development, product evolution feedback and commercial contribution (input in prospecting, category development)
  • Timely delivery of all sales reporting including account planning and forecasting
  • Active participant in team and driver of culture against company values

Experience sought

  • 1+ years relevant digital media, marketing or digital sales experience
  • 1+ years in delivering exceptional customer experience
  • High degree of professionalism, high energy level, strong work ethic and a team attitude: cultural fit is key
  • Recent college grad interested in a technology sales/account management career or 1-2 years of industry experience
  • Experience leveraging social media and networking sites (LinkedIn etc) for prospect identification and development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • CRM/ experience a plus
